It seems that it has to do with the wp-Typography plugin I'm using - something must've gotten screwed up in one of the updates recently. Turning off the hyphenation option seems to fix it. Odd that it appears in Chrome only, maybe it has to do with its JavaScript engine - all those speed enhancements finally caught up with them ;) Thanks for the catch!

I looked into it more and there arn't dashes in the html. Also, they don't show up in Firefox. Just with Chromium.
